quesitons

  • Why do I considere lyapunov exponents near the periodic orbits?
    • linearizaiton only makes sense near the periodic orbits?

The effect of the distance

It seems as if the distance between the boxes has a qualitative effect on the dynamics only after DEL>1e-6. Thus for now, I will choose DEL=1e-8 as the distance between the boxes. And later investigate the effect on the dynamics of the distance between the boxes again.

DEL = 0

DEL = 1e-13

DEL = 1e-8

DEL = 1e-7

DEL = 1e-6

DEL = 1e-5

Lost Wonderers Thoughts:

I watched a lecture by Tim Palmers interpretation on quantum mechanics, i.e. the Bell inequality. He calls invariant set theory.

Here the idea is that the underlying assumptions about the Bell’s inequality are not in line with reality, that state space is a smooth and continuous state space, but is rather fractal, thus determanistically indeterminable. The experimental assumptions, that each photon is the same, cannot be fulfilled; each photon originates from a different location in phase space, and thus the assumption, that the photons are locally the same are broken.
